PopID, a developer of facial recognition payments technology. According to the companies, the partnership will let consumers pay with their face at Piestro s planned automated pizzeria locations. Piestro has developed a robot that makes pizza, which it is in the midst of developing. Piestro is backed by Wavemaker Partners, and is also in the midst of crowdfunding its efforts through StartEngine. Piestro s CEO is Massimo De Marco. Piestro is just one of a number of robotics startups in the works from Wavemaker Labs.

Rebel Wilson has decided to try out her skills behind the camera next year and it seems that the rising rates of recognition for talented female directors has been her catalyst.
The 41-year-old actress says that she was inspired by an article about how female filmmakers broke the record for most Academy Award nominations this week, with Chloe Zhao and Emerald Fennell both listed in the Best Director category for Nomadland and Promising Young Woman respectively.
